
Melinda Gates is an American businesswoman and philanthropist. In 2000, she co-founded with her husband, Bill Gates, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. As of 2015, this is the largest philanthropic organization in the world. The couple have dedicated their lives to giving away their wealth.
In their annual newsletter Melinda is listed as co-chair of the Foundation helping to shape and approve the Foundation’s strategy. She works tirelessly for women’s causes to improve equity for all in the United States and around the world. The author of the book, The Moment of Lift: How Empowering Women Changes the World, tells all with it’s title.
Melinda hold a Bachelors Degree in computer science and economics from Duke University and a Masters in Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business.
