“Where did he come from?”

Minnesota. This is the boy, well man as he is 31, my daughter brought home for me to meet. He has no tattoos, 4.0 in college, didn’t drink till he was 21, loves his family though admits to a challenging older sister… And in the latest text with family picture the 3 of them were smiling with the caption, “Happy Easter from our family, missing Greg.”

My daughter can’t help but see my glances as he relays stories admitting to being raised in a loving family. Once alone I grabbed her arm asking, “Did you tell him any of our history?,” She said, “Yes, and he keeps coming back.”

Guess Biden better pick Amy Klobuchar as his running mate. If this guy can take us on they must have something miraculous in those Minnesota waters.

There is Science..

and there is free will. Science will prevail.

Watching protests against social distancing and wearing masks this thought came to mind. Yesterday I wore a mask while visiting three car dealerships in St. Augustine, Florida. In the 3 visits I was the only one with a mask and social distancing. Wonder what Florida will look like in the next 10 days, and will they alter the statistics?.

Science will prevail.

Red Neck Origin

Never knew the origin of “Red Neck.” Let me enlighten you should you not know either. These folks work outside the causing their necks to redden.

Question: Does this neck condition transfer to the brain causing other problems?

That answers why so many of them voted for trump. Question answered.

Bird House Vacancy

As my garden flourishes more birds are appearing.

Besides the usual Sparrows, Robins, and Mourning Doves now Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Red Winged Blackbirds grace the property. I wonder if the Cardinals followed me from Virginia, and if so hope they stay.

In preparation for the birds, birdhouses have been purchased. Besides honey this is my new go to purchase when traveling. And while traveling is on pause I look forward to my enjoying my new tenants.

Capitol Reef National Park

This park is located in south central Utah in the heart of red rock country. It offers cliffs, canyons, and interesting rock formations to visit. Hiking and backpacking is available as well as two free primitive campgrounds.

There are commercial trips available from Trip Advisor to this park which sound fascinating. Check them out.

Have to put this on the to do list..

Career Happiness

In writing the weekly blog of prominent women thoughts of those women who are the fabric of America and keep our country moving come to mind. They are the unsung women who are cleaners, postal and retail workers, and those working in health care.

There is value in whatever path taken.

The most important part of career is to do what you love, do it well, be proud of what you accomplish, and be happy.

This is what life is about.

Ramadan 2020

Ramadan is done to increase spiritual devotion with the faithful reflecting on self-improvement. This reflection hopes to increase devotion to the Islamic practices.

For those interested in traveling to Islamic countries this time period is not recommended as purchasing of food and water during this fast can be problematic.

Get Over It!

Rarely do I use an exclamation mark and believe this warrants one.

While I feel for the Class of 2020 their story of graduating during the Pandemic is over done. While the prom and ceremony is a finishing touch this is not an end all. And many of us who did not attend either made out fine. You will also do the same. In the meantime consider this, the era of cliques, pimples, and bullying is over. Look forward to a new life and yes..

Congratulations and Change the World, PLEASE.
