Off to fl

Started my day early obtaining my requisite items from the Chinese 86th Street Bakery in Bensonhurst. Have enough to get through my busy condo staging days. What sweet women they are.

Always a smile.

Also bought berries for the trip..

Next on to La Guardia Airport.. Usually I don’t like to impose on my daughter and take the subway but she insisted. She was supposed to help me with the fl condo staging but she received a lucrative job offer for the week.

Since she’s unemployed had to accept the gig.

Glad for her, but unsure how much I’ll be able to accomplish without her.

However, there are 24 hours in a day.

⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰

Plan on repainting the entire unit white, clean a bit, and set up the condo with some new touches.

Have spent $500 on upgrades but may send back what doesn’t fit.

Thank goodness for Amazon.

Now on the last leg of the flight

Arriving at my favorite airport and from there will hit Dollar Tree for cleaning supplies and Lowe’s for paint.

Unsure how much time I’ll have to write but will try.

Wish me luck!

NYC Layover

Off to NYC after completing cabin upgrade. Had a day before flying to fl for condo repaint and staging.

Am going with a different realtor and hopeful.

$9 🍹

Stopped for a cosmo and lycee martini at this bar/restaurant. This came after a phenomenal 90 minute massage for $55 at a spot on 8th Avenue.

What fun but it’s not over yet.

Next…

Joyce Theater

A spectacular performance by NYC kids with very promising futures. The dancers were recruited from all parts of the NYC area.

Had forgotten about the Joyce and will put it on my radar for future NYC trips.

Check it out if you love dance and are in the area.

Another great day in the Big Apple.

Last thing on the list

Today I had blown in insulation done to my new skirting and floor boards.

Huge truck. Think workers dress and shower here after getting out of their hazmat suit.
Nasty job

End Product

Looks like the North Pole

$2300, not a bad price. Tomorrow will return all to the basement.

My grand dog on vacation. All he needs now is a margarita!

Alpacas

Yesterday took a fun trip to Roscoe, New York to visit ..

What fun to see the over 100 alpacas on this 38 acre farm been around for over 12 years.

The owner, Kara, gave me a wonderful tour explaining the warmth, waterproof, varied color, and softness of their fur.

This inspired me to due some retail damage of gloves, and pullover sweater. An early birthday gift to me..

The grounds were immaculate and on this pristine day glad I brought a lunch as fun to eat lunch while watching these beautiful animals.

Baby nursing with her mom. Baby has some 🦡 concerns why the red socks.
Grazing
Varied colors
This is a prize πŸ₯‡ gal with a rare hair color.
Baby born within an hour of my visit. Placenta by mom’s feet. She’s a first time mom.

Each May the alpacas are sheared. They are a pack animal. The farm sell the animals but Kara was mum on what they go for.

Some fun facts

There were other animals on the farm. This Vietnamese pig was a rescue.

Meet Daisy – she’s a mini pig. Can’t imagine what a maxi pig looks like.
What a treat – feathers in full Monty.

What a fun visit!
