Watched Joe

Saw the interview with George Stef today and Joe is back to himself. Listening to how he became ill with his transatlantic journeys I can fully understand as I am still recovering from my journeys to Italy in January. I acquired lung conditions that doctors had no answer for.

๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

Glad to see he is perkier post debate.

We need him.

There is no alternative.

๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Heโ€™s done a phenomenal job.

How I wish he received credit for all heโ€™s done and the ideas he has for the future.

This issue is closed in my book.

๐Ÿ“™๐Ÿ“˜๐Ÿ“—๐Ÿ“•๐Ÿ“™๐Ÿ“˜๐Ÿ“—๐Ÿ“•

Itโ€™s time to move on.

The rapist is silent

๐Ÿ˜ท๐Ÿ˜ท๐Ÿ˜ท๐Ÿ˜ท

And he did the same thing during the Hillary email debacle. he stood back, said nothing and let the s-it hit the fan.

๐Ÿชญ๐Ÿชญ๐Ÿชญ๐Ÿชญ

And his # increased, then he won.

So, I wrote to Joe, and hereโ€™s what I said;

  • Get Joe out there interviews, on the road. Visibilityโ€ฆโ€ฆ
  • Write daily Executive Orders which will benefit the American people, and promote them through the media.
  • Get all of Joeโ€™s cabinet, governors, house of rep, senate, and family out there on airways, internet, and every media available.
  • Have these media avenues filled with young people, Latinos, blacks, and put these messages out in Spanish. Get on the Spanish radio waves.
  • Promote this with comedy. Get prominent comedians out there for Joe.
  • Have comedians do a web site filled with the rapists lies pointing out through humor the reality of the rapists lies. How it will impact all of us.

As I write this the overreaching idea is why are these folks doing all these tasks to ruin our lives and theirs.??.

It makes no sense.

These people overthrowing our democracy will be the first to cry foul, and point fingers at others though they created this chaos.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘ˆ

When you point there are 4 fingers pointing back at yourself.

๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž

However, I wish to keep my fingers crossed,

๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž

Putting my hope on Joe and Kamala.

Britain woke up, maybe we are next.

After all thatโ€™s our mother country.

Wedding Crasher?

As I aways say you never know what you will find when you travel. Well, today was one of those daysโ€ฆ

Saw this sign and thought Iโ€™d take a ๐Ÿ‘€

Came across this festive spot.

Went in and inquired of their wine sampler. A discussion with the bartender ensued, and I was told to join the party as wine was outside. Apparently he didnโ€™t get that I wasnโ€™t a guest?

The lounge area
They also have music

So I took the bartenders advice, went among the wedding party guests and poured myself a couple glasses of ๐Ÿท . I also availed myself to cheese, crackers, nuts, and grapes from the appetizer table.

๐Ÿท๐Ÿถ๐Ÿท๐Ÿถ๐Ÿท

Had a delightful time drinking and munching away knowing I saved $15.??

Cute Landscape

So, Sue and Jim I wish you well!

Congratulations ๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽŠ and many happy years together are wished for the both of you!

And by the way, the wine was pretty good.

Take A Page From the despot Playbook

Photo by Jean-Daniel Francoeur on Pexels.com

Hate this game, but, in this writing it fits, and makes sense. It is what is needed to get Joe back in the White House. The only thing the despot party, (the repub), do right is they band together. Let’s face it they already have an autocracy party with their rapist leader as king. When the despots come to their D.C. positions they sign a pledge of loyalty that they vote with all their other despots on laws. There is no variance allowed. If there is they loose any potential funding for campaigns and are black listed.

Don’t think this is true, check it out for yourself.

So, in order to keep Joe in the White House the Democrats need to sign on with the same tactics. Joe has the Democratic Governors on board and the next step is to get those in the House and Senate in line.

They all must sign the pledge.

It’s time for the huddle to close ranks and move forward. Next step the House and Senate called in.

Then we’ll have a touchdown and our Democracy will be saved.

Mission House

For decades I have been visiting the Stockbridge area and always wanted to visit Mission House on Main Street, Stockbridge.

Well, today was the day! I learned at Naumkeag Miss Mildred Choate paid for the restoration of this site. It has a medicinal herbal garden surrounding it.

The docent in the kitchen

The minister family who lived in the home worked with the Mohican Indians who lived in Stockbridge. Eventually the Mohicans were forced out and resettled in Wisconsin.

She mentioned a book to read on this sad tale of America. What awful things we did to the first inhabitants of our country..

The Unredeemed Captive by John Devos

Mission House

Naumkeag

This was the summer home of the Choate family. Mr. Choate was a corporate lawyer for the Vanderbiltโ€™s, Rockefellerโ€™s, and rail road robber barons. He had world wide notoriety, and when he died at 85 half a million New Yorkers attended his funereal.

He cofounded the Met and was also an ambassador to Great Britain.

His wife came from average means and they met at a NYC art show. An avid artist she eventually succumbed to Mr. Choate pursuits of her and they produced 5 children.

Two died in early adulthood, and one suffered a mental breakdown from a college hazing incident and was institutionalized his entire life. As for the remaining 2 children one followed in his fatherโ€™s footsteps as a prominent lawyer with his sister never married. She cared for the summer estate, traveled the world, and was a social/political advocate.

Her mother was an involved suffragette and co founded Barnard and City College in New York City. She was an avid political and social advocate of which her daughter followed in her footsteps.

While the home was lovely with impeccable views, the gardens were outstanding. While Mrs. Choate began them, her daughter upgraded them with the 30 year assistance of Fletcher Steele, a landscape artist. While their relationship challenging Miss Choate gave him reign as he created a masterpiece.

And a Moon Gate. The docent on this tour was phenomenal. Learned much from him and the other attendees. As you walk into a Chinese Garden you make an angle and this is thought to keep the bad spirits from entering. Then leaving through the Moon Gate assures good luck.๐Ÿ€

The Trocadero

What a fun filled afternoon provided by this American troupe of male dancers performing parodies on Swan ๐Ÿฆข Lake.

I cannot recall when I left so hard. Sadly, the gal in front of me grabbed her ears several times covering her hearing aids as I laughed loudly.

๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿ‘‚

Had seen this group at the Joyce Theatre in 2007 and thoroughly enjoyed them then, but now will follow their performance dates.

๏ฟผ๐Ÿ‘ฏ๐Ÿ‘ฏ๐Ÿ‘ฏ๐Ÿ‘ฏ

The members originate from all parts of the world. The troop began in 1970 and this marks their 50th anniversary. They havenโ€™t been at the Pillow since 2010 but surely will be returning next season.

๏ฟผ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ

I stopped the Pillow Artistic Director and asked. We all know what leverage I have!

Check out the Pillow schedule, and this amazing dance troupe for next year.

Jacobโ€™s Pillow

This amazing dance center celebrates its 92nd anniversary this year! Havenโ€™t been in at least 15 years and how itโ€™s grown.

Nice to see families of all races and colors here.

I was remiss that I did not visit earlier in the day as they have a dance museum with an enormous collection of videos and other memorabilia to celebrate dance. They even have honors from President Obama and Michelle regarding their work.

The museum has an extensive photographic collection of their troupes through the decades on display by John Lindquist.

What history!

Some items displayed..

Chinese headdress from Asian performance
Costumes
Video displays to explore
Patricia McBride and Edward Viella

The grounds are beautiful at this venue and on this glorious summer day they literally glowed. There are places to eat, drink, and is a perfect spot to get together with friends.

They even have a dance studio you can explore.

And on the studio walls are the brochures of the dance companies from the various years.
This is from 1956, my birth year, when the San Francisco ballet company performed.

Sadly in 2020 their Doris Duke Theater burned to the ground. However, a new more vibrant theater is in the works. The Pillow is in their final stages of fund raising.

? Perhaps a call to Mackenzie Scott is needed?

Next, Les Ballets Trockadero De Monte Carlo

We now have a King

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

As I write this blog I am concerned for my personal safety.

โ˜ฃ๏ธโ˜ฃ๏ธโ˜ฃ๏ธโ˜ฃ๏ธโ˜ฃ๏ธ

According to the unsupreme court anyone can be eliminated by our King President and those who speak out gone.

And there is no recourse for this decision.

Our only hope is that we install through voting an individual who will not abuse their power.

Love Joe

Photo by Brett Sayles on Pexels.com

As I read the pundits and politicians about Joe bowing out from the race I am sickened.

While he had a bad 90 minutes, look what he’s done for us in 3 1/2 years, and for those 30 folks who follow my writings I need not repeat the acclaims.

He’s done more as a modern President than anyone else.

So, rather than tear the man down, let’s build him up and support him.

And for the $33 million he raised in 4 days from us little folk since the debate, doesn’t that say it all?

Photo by Karolina Kaboompics on Pexels.com

He’s certainly one Ferrari, and a rare one at that!

Keep the faith, Joe!

I am with you 100%. There is no one better.
