Started my day early as the trek to the Fair was 3 hours. However, the time went quickly as NPR was available the entire route. Don’t you just love NPR? I hope Judy Woodruff is enjoying her retirement. What a mountain of learning you achieve from that valuable resource!
On to the Fair..
So much to see and do..
Haven’t been in 15 years but somethings never change, and when it’s quality glad it doesn’t.
It was Beef Day at the Fair and started my visit with the Highland Cows. What gorgeous animals, had only seen them in Scotland, but a couple who came from Canada 🇨🇦 were showing these beauties.
What color, wish I could find a hair dye that color.Another guy, check out those hooves.Beef Benefits
And a few jokes..
And they had an area for cows in waiting and a nursery.

Then on to see goats getting a trim, they weren’t too happy on this.
Next The Indian Village
Did some retail damage here but always want to support indigenous folk. We certainly gave them much heartache stealing their lands.

At the 4H Building some fascinating things are going on..
An idea for my next birdhouse – who thought to use popsicle sticks.

The horses 🐎 and horse shows were fun to watch.
These guys came from Michigan for the festivities Horse Show
Along the way the military was on display. Such interesting vehicles.
430,000 and that doesn’t include the electrical add onsThis was the Army, but all branches were present.Girls Basketball drew quite a crowd. Guess this is really catching on. Long overdue.
Food Court
The Butter SculpturesChocolate Chips in a ConeThe Milk Booth. Four glasses for a $, chocolate or white, strawberry 🍓 served the last 5 days of the Fair. And one more Food Court besides the Midway!
New York is becoming quite the whiskey 🥃 brewing State. Several vendors were prompting their wares.
My favorite was the alcohol 🥃 infused fudge! It also came infused with Chablis.
From here spent much time at the Cornell Master Garden exhibit.
Here I took a class on how to grow better tomatoes and composting. I even received one of the tan containers seen on the tables as a gift which I am now using to begin composting.
Vital Resources
Can’t leave without showing the flower displays..
But my main focus was to find ideas on what to plant to deter those hungry deer 🦌. Received much information and already have made many purchases.
Some other pics..

What an amazing and fun day!
And as with all good things they come to an end.
A nurse I work with who has been very helpful and I respect a great deal called needing someone to work for her the following day. She had a family emergency.
So I departed at 6pm.
That said there were many free musical 🎵 venues throughout the day and in the evening. Plus, seniors got in free! So, the days was quite a deal.
Maybe it was the heroin he did as a teen, or the worm in his head, but he is one fu-ked up guy. I think the rest of the Kennedy family is breathing a sigh of relief. Of course now he’s tossing his support to the rapist president in the hopes of a cabinet position.

All I can think of with him is the 330,000 lost lives in Africa when he convinced leadership that HIV drugs were a danger. Then most recently 83 babies lives lost in the Caribbean when he told that leadership of vaccination lethality.

But what bothers me most is how he moved his ex-wife’s grave, (she committed suicide), to a different part of the Catholic cemetery, and now she’s buried alone forever.
The NYC glow wore off quickly tonight during my 12 hour shift of screaming 😱 psychotic patients. But while that goes with the territory, elder abuse does not.
And I’m not talking about patients.
I’m talking about staff to staff.
At 68 years old thought 🐂 bullying was over, but guess not. Since I took this position in June one nurse has consistently acted odd toward me. My intuitive self knew we would never be “friends,” but last night proved it.
😭😢😪😿
Was informed by another worker she constantly trashes me when I am not working. Her favorite word for me vacillates between nerd and asshole.
🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
So tonight when she called by name I responded, “You mean nerd.” Then I proceeded to say, “I know you trash me when I’m not here.” To which she stood saying, “I don’t talk behind anyone’s back, I tell it to their face.”
New York City is always challenging when you need to find a loo. I found myself in Chinatown on Canal St., in this state, when I came across this Museum. Knew they’d have facilities so decided to drop in for a visit to alleviate several needs.

And so glad I did as it was a fascinating visit. While a little pricey, $26 seniors, and $30 normal fare, it was worth the price. All works are reproductions, but well constructed, and organized to give keen insight into this elusive artist 🧑🎨 of world 🌍 renown.

So, if you don’t know this secretive chap am sure you will by the end of this blog.
Here he is..
Bansky began his work in England so perhaps he is a Brit? Don’t care to hypothesize on that. However, this is where he is currently active, so let’s start by checking out that scene.

Almost sad to see the last night of this spectacular end. What a phenomenal ending to a potential Emmy award 🏆 winning show!
There were so many venues that I am unsure which was my favorite. Oprah, Hakim Jeffries, John Legend, the O’s – M and B, Hillary… The list goes on and on.

Kamala’s acceptance speech was spectacular and enlightening. And while I was emblazoned my son in law was skeptical. I had visited Brooklyn so we could watch the festivities together as we both are political junkies.

And this Minnesota guy is correct. One misstep in this play could sink us.
Good we have a coach on board.
The despot party 🎉 is evil so we’ll need to roll up our sleeves, and start the fight.
Am in Brooklyn partaking the events of the DNC with my son in law while my daughter is in South Dakota doing a two week event.

She didn’t dare bring Rocco, the grand dog, as Kristi will be making an appearance at the event.
🤣😆🤣😆😄🤪😁😂
Obtained a $30 ticket 🎫 for this play as had many points from Today’s Tix, get the AP, great prices and benefits.
I didn’t get it as did many others.
Am told this play was loosely based on the group Fleetwood Mac. It followed a British rock group creating an album. With fast paced words and British accents literally had no idea what was being said or going on through the play.
