This morning came home 🏡 to another massive Mac 🛻 truck on my property, and a backhoe something like this 6 feet outside my bedroom window.
Thank God most of the seasonal neighbors have gone…

After a grueling 14 hours listening to screaming, uncontrollable psychiatric patients, then a 5 am wake up call as another patient went medically sour, I did not welcome this.
😭😭😭😭😭
Update: The medically soured patient survived. Was grateful it wasn’t my patient and she had a young, snappy gen z’er care for her. I was the gofer for the situation.
😰 😅😥😪😰
Back to the cabin.. looked over the situation and no changes done except the arrival of more equipment. 3 days of broken promises but when you have at least 2 other projects in the works how can you fit me in?

Perhaps things didn’t arrive so the project can’t continue?
And dare say I best be mum as I am stuck with this situation as well as the fl condo. And then there is the electric car and the stupidity of going to school for Neurofeedback.
So many awful financial decisions in 2024.
Just grateful to have the psych unit to keep me financially solvent.

Gosh, I’m really digressing but this blog only has one reader so consider this more journaling than anything.
Hello out there……
📝📝📝📝📝
Since I could barely stand from exhaustion went to bed waking at 🕛. Upon looking out my bedroom window found Charlie, my fellow baby boomer, at the helm of the backhoe digging a trench for water pipes to link Wanda and Willie, the water tanks, to the cabin.

Dressed and got moving as I had a massage appointment in Middletown. Waved to Charlie, and hopped in Gina, (my Toyota named for Gina Ramundo, my favorite cabinet secretary- look 👀 her up).
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Massage was 5 stars, and body repaired, so journeyed to the Middletown Aldi next. Aldi and Dollar Tree always raise my spirits and somehow buying $30 worth of canned goods added to my bliss.

Ross is another fav where I go to find $1. undies. This was the final stop on my list. Since I was successful in finding 2 pair at $1.50 and $1.99, my day was complete.
And though they were pricer than usual I was pleased.

The drive home proved relaxing finding the leaves at peek and post peek.
Another delight.
But the best part…drum roll…

Charlie had completed half the trench for the water pipes. Never underestimate us Baby Boomers. Thanks, Charlie 🥰
