The real reason for the NYC visit was to see Harry Connick, jr., at Lincoln Center singing 🎵 Cole Porter.

There’s just something about Harry.. While not a musician or actor follower, always check him out when info appears about him. He’s just one of those great human beings that you can’t help but ❤️. And his concert this afternoon made me love him even more.

The only missing element was his wife Jill and his 3 girls, now young women, were not in the audience as they were several years ago when he performed on Broadway. But they were probably at the evening show.

He filled the house 🏡 and his performance sublime.

My daughter attended with me sneaking some shots.. enjoy..

Thought I ordered a ticket 🎟️ in the morning, however, the email proving my purchase never arrived. Guess I didn’t punch all the buttons right, or Broadway Direct which had the best prices needs to upgrade their system?.?.

So rather than spend $175, (only seats left), decided to go for the standing room only ticket, $40.

And it was an amazing view. I swayed, danced, and leaned on the wall, to keep my legs from tiring. It worked!!!!

What a fun show, so many laughs that you miss them as the jokes are fast and furious. Recommend this show if you need some comedy in these wicked times, and don’t we all?

Now that I’ve seen the play will check out the movie with a young Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep.

I’m sure there will be many enormous belly laughs with that as well.

Since I hadn’t eaten since morning found myself famished post movie. Always bring food with me, however my 🍎 and pistachios of 2 pm had long left me.

Lincoln Center is a beautiful but expensive area with a burrito 🌯 or taco 🌮 or gyro from the food truck ranging $14 to $16. So in looking for a spot away from the drizzle came across down this cute restaurant with an exceptional, and friendly wait staff.

Here I partook (is that a word?), in a happy hour margarita for $9, and an amazing bowl of French Onion Soup. Yum……

What a treat…on to the next show, stay tuned…

Traveled 🧳 to NYC 🚌 for a whirlwind weekend. After an hour of sleep 💤 boarded the Coach Bus 🚌 in Monticello and was on my way!

Arriving at 3 and did a mad dash on the one train to Film at Lincoln Center 144 West 65th Street.

Here I saw a movie 🎥 with Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton about a woman helping her friend die with dignity. The Room Next Door, was beautifully done with exceptional acting by these 2 veterans.

It made one think of their own mortality.

Check out this theater when you visit. It always provides movies of inspiration.🍿

Guess Robert F Kennedy didn’t do too well with his congressional hearings. It started when he didn’t know the difference between Medicare and Medicaid, and it was a straight down hill flight ✈️ from then on.

Even cousin Caroline has come out against him.
