The cost for that fiasco is $55 million and climbing. And Venice doesn’t even want them – good for Venice someone has some sense or is it cents??

Believe me I understand it is exhausting having an idiot(s) at the helm but to tune out is unacceptable. rfk is now proposing we all have tracking devices by 2029. There are so many more important things he could/should be handling as Health and Human Services Secretary, but let’s humor him.

What If, rfk got his wish and we were all tracked?

• Would be wear these devices on our wrist, or would we have them internally?
• Would these devices be monitored so the government would know where we are at all times?
• What would the cost be?
• Would the device control all our actions?
• And best yet would it kill the worm in RFK’s head?

Am trying to get accustomed to this new stage of life. Have decided to be called Gigi by the new member of our family allowing the revered title to go to the Minnesota connection.

While I have purchased half price diapers from Dollar Tree, (a dozen as I snatched them all up from the bargain 🧺), she has located a carriage and crib from a neighbor hood garage sale.

She found the above for $100. at the ritzy neighborhood’s garage sale. Haven’t received a picture of the crib but she found that for $100 as well.!

It’s amazing the cost for these items. Bringing a new one into the world is certainly costly.

After going through well over 100 grand, (stopped counting at 100 several months ago), I am investigating my options.

While I am comfortable living here, am living in fear, as I put criminal charges against my contractor who absconded with funds, and did much wrong requiring others to repair.

It has been reported he also has a drug problem. Recently learned a woman who gave him cash for a car caught him in the act of snorting coke when she went to inquire about the car. (And we aren’t speaking of coke which is purchased at the local convenient store.).

She has yet to receive the car 🚗 and is in conversation with the sheriff’s department.

So have begun to speak with realtors to assess the amount of damage with this loss. It is grave, but so would be having a panel truck pull up and take me away. Am told, (too late), this guys connections are strong to the NYC drug 🌍.

Alas, am a believer that the answer will come.

Started the evening with a back up local band with roots 10 miles from Bethel in Jeffersonville, N.Y. Noah Barker is the leader of the group and their instrumental/electronic vibe was sublime.

Love that piano.

Then Wynton began.. Have only known him from NYC jazz circuit. My daughter often picks up his jazz practice sessions getting him his signature small black coffee from Starbucks, and other items the band needs.

Was a small crowd of 1500 but a very well appreciated audience. Intimate, and what a sound.

Just read that the US has bombed 3 nuclear sites in Iran. Unsure what that means for US, or the world, but having a nut case at the helm with inferior quality people in his cabinet as puppets lacking expertise or knowledge is particularly concerning. However, our fellow Americans voted him in after his election being financed by the richest man in the world, another unstable mind, who isn’t even a born American.

So, what can you do in these uncertain times?

Rather than have a major depressive episode as I did in his last presidential term, I have decided to do some things I have total control over.

Here they are,

#1. watching a rom com, Bridget Jones About A Boy, which I must admit was a cute uplifting romp.

#2. drinking a watermelon red wine spritzer.

#3. reviewing the last 40 purchases I have made from Amazon.

Give it a try, the distraction alone with lift your spirits.

• The rain 🌧️ never stopped, and we had to build an arc? Remember Water World???
• The polar ice caps froze, and the Coca Cola bear 🐻 became our friend?
• The rapist president got us into a war – oh he did today?.
• We had people in the White House and running our government that knew what they were doing?.

Caveat: Isn’t is amazing all those who voted for the rapist are now being affected by his actions? Then they act like they had no idea when they were warned??

What if, people used their heads, and listened to reason?

As I return to reality from my NYC sojourn, I have begin to catch up on the news of the world. 🌎. I find it amazing and unthinkable to see where we are now. Don’t you?

So to relieve my angst I will once again resort to What If’s.., Here it goes..

Stopped at my favorite Chinese restaurant for lunch to ponder my real estate viewing and life in general. And what better place than the corner of Bay 23rd and Bath over a savory eggplant 🍆 and chicken on white rice.

Well, didn’t come to any answers but the next stop 🛑 helped. A massage on 86th Street followed by a visit to Marshalls then a short nap 💤.

While I wanted to visit the new Frick energy was lacking so for next visit.

Since I tired of Broadway was pleased to find a show available at the Joyce and more in my price range, $25.

Last year I was fortunate enough to catch the same group which pleased me enormously. These dance students are so very talented and come from the NYC school system in conjunction with a local dance school.

While I wish I could give you more pics of their performances however, I am unable, so let’s just go with their final bows.
