What if’s # 9..

  • I continued this blog and it became a daily post?
  • The blog created traction, and someone like ? Stephen Colbert caught on
  • Stephen created this into his signature piece for his new life
  • Stephen had me on his show
  • What would I say?
  • What would I wear?

Gosh, this really is a dream. Guess senility is fast approaching as I end my 60’s.

Perhaps this What if’s is the funniest of all.

And on this note, good bye July 2025.

What if’s # 8..

  • rfk’s worm ate away most of his brain, oh that’s right it already has..
  • rfk’s wife decided to come to DC live with him
  • rfk’s wife and melanie got together and they both sued for divorce claiming infidelity
  • rfk stopped his sex texting with young women
  • rfk became the first to test health tracking monitoring he’s proposed
  • rfk went away and we never heard from him again
  • And finally what if he took the rapist prez with him..

One can dream…

What if’s # 7..

  • musk named his kids with normal names.
  • musk made a space rocket that didn’t blow up.
  • musk was being truthful about the rapist’s activities with epstein.
  • musk actually started a political party.
  • musk’s drug use was finally revealed.
  • musk continued to contribute to the rapist prez’s campaigns.
  • musk lost all his wealth, and was kicked under the bus like all others who follow the rapist.

One can dream………….

๐Ÿ’ค๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿ›Œ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜˜๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ›Œ๐Ÿ’ค๐Ÿ˜ด

But currently itโ€™s more like a nightmare

What If’s #6

About time for a little more humor, even if dark, with What If’s…

  • The Kennedy Center broke in two and slipped into the abyss when it was renamed the melania trump center..
  • One better, what if ICE agents came to the White House, and took melania away to alligator alley..
  • Even better, what if ICE agents took away the baron at NYU, maybe they can share a cell?..
  • Someone sold don jr cocaine laced with rat poisoning, well, he’s brain dead already so wouldn’t matter.
  • But, what if they gave the same to eric – read above wouldn’t matter.
  • And what if they gave it to the rapist prez – wow this is becoming redundant, but one can dream..

Islands of the Hudson

This skyline never disappoints.

What a fascinating 3 hours tour this was with a guide full of anecdotes and information.

Was surprised at the amount of islands in the Hudson.

While Pepsi is no longer made here the sign remains on the Jersey side.

The Four Freedoms Memorial dedicated to FDR and lies on the end of Roosevelt Island.

FDR Memorial

One can obtain passage to this Island through the tram located on East 60th and 2nd Avenue for the minimal fee of $2.90

The tram is fascinating, giving beautiful aerial views of the river and landscape below

Smallpox Sanitorium

This small pox sanatorium lies in ruins on the island as well.

Another view

There also is a former psychiatric hospital where Nellie Bly the famous female reporter of the 1900โ€™s went undercover to expose the institution.

Note the building with the flag is the site.
This designates the end of the island.
Other Boats on tour
U Thant Island

This island is the smallest island in the river named for the famous UN member. It is a protected bird sanctuary for double crested corcormants.

The UN
Manhattan and Queensboro Bridges I believe he said
Electric Plant
Hunts Point Industrial Area where the greatest amount of food distribution occurs in the world
Great sunset on Hunts Point
An abandoned island in the River. Many islands that are abandoned have prohibited access.
Rikers Island – it is hoped that by 2030 this notorious city jail will be closed.
Another island left to nature with prohibited access. The guide has been on this island as he was a naturalist and stated it was loaded with poison ivy amongst the ruins.
Sadly our 3 hour tour ends with my charger death but what a fascinating tour!

The Frick Museum 2025

The gardens surrounding the Museum are simple and elegant..

On the way back to Brooklyn from the Pom meet the Frick Museum caught my eye. Had been wanting to visit since their 330 million dollar upgrade where they opened a second floor to the collection.

Photos not allowed but was able to snap the atrium

Henry Clay Frisk was an American industrialist involved in a bumpy business relationship with Andrew Carnegie. Driven by the need for power and wealth he harshly treated his workers. This is turn caused his assassination by an anarchist who broke into his home shooting him in the head and stabbing him.

Much of the museum is portraits and religious works. However, with the opening of the second floor rare ceramics, watches, and a even more rare collection of medals are on display.

The way to the second floor.

This send floor was where the family resided. And while the art is beyond words the rooms with their ornate fireplaces, hand carved wood trim are a work of art onto its own. Take the time to closely view the beauty of each room if you are fortunate enough to visit.

It is well worth the $30 admission fee.

NYC Visit

Stopped in NYC after the Berkshires to visit my Brooklyn family. Slept well after the 4 hour commute. In the morning made a pit stop to see one of my daughterโ€™s work events in Times Square.

After checking out the event on to a street fair.

Miss you.
Such fun sharing all the ๐Ÿฅ˜ food.

But the best part was the t-shirt saying

Heโ€™s on the List

Next event the Pomeranian picnic ๐Ÿงบ in Central Park.

What fun!

Tanglewood Pre-Talk etc..

Itโ€™s silent right now but am attending a pre rehearsal talk regarding the upcoming concert of the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra. They will be performing Prokofiev who is known for Peter and the Wolf as well as Romeo and Juliet works.

The presenter is droll but am sure he is a rather learned chap. Iโ€™m writing my blog as he speaks, and catch a few words of wisdom about the upcoming concert. Iโ€™m sure it will be grand. ๐ŸŽน๐ŸŽน๐ŸŽน๐ŸŽน๐ŸŽน๐ŸŽน๐ŸŽน๐ŸŽน

A performer arrives.

The concert is soon but Iโ€™ve decided rather than taking my $40 seat will partake from a perch outside one of the restaurant venues.

Have to get used to rockers as will be a grandma soon.

My perch at Tanglewood- priceless

As a solo traveler, itโ€™s always an odd experience never knowing if someone will speak to you and thus far in this trip, no one has, which is fine. Iโ€™ve enjoyed my solitude away from the harshness of the psych ward and good to be away from those who walk such a challenging life.

Good bye to my amazing visit which has given amazing memories.

Until next year!

Tanglewood

Attended a concert ๐ŸŽต with the Boston Pops having Kelli Oโ€™Hara and Sutton Foster doing a combination singing ๐ŸŽถ, dancing, and comedy show. It was quite entertaining so catch them if they come to town.

Itโ€™s been an idyllic weather weekend in the Berkshires with another gorgeous day is in the works.

๐Ÿš™๐Ÿš™๐Ÿš™๐Ÿš™๐Ÿš™๐Ÿš™๐Ÿš™๐Ÿš™๐Ÿš™๐Ÿš™๐Ÿš™๐Ÿš™

As I park a youth waves me to pull my car ๐Ÿš™ closer to the car ahead. I do not want to and shake my head she tells me to. My car rolls and my front bumper touches the back bumper of the SUV ahead of me. Soon the supervisor arrives followed by 5 more attendants then a state police ๐Ÿ‘ฎ officer. Thankfully, I am cleared.

๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ

I am furious as one teen parking attendant as she departs wishes me a happy day. I say fuck you doubtful they heard me. I sit in the car ๐Ÿš™ a bit to decompress.

As I walk toward the Tanglewood entrance I note ๐Ÿ“ the parking attendant who told me to move the car further placing me in this ๐Ÿฅ’ pickle is laughing amongst her other parking folk.

๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

And you know what? I am going to flip the switch and laugh as well.

What a lesson in letting go, and itโ€™s time for Tosca.

Enjoy!
