I am pleased to report I have a completed bedroom with even a Childe Hassam poster on the wall.

Since the bedroom is 8 x 8 decided to forego a closet and went with a wall approach. New narrow dressers are arriving from Amazon this week. Yes! Can’t wait.😀 Am so excited to have a bedroom and a bed.

Since I start work next Monday wanted to have all these rooms done so I busted my a-s to finish the paneling in the bathroom.

Both these rooms have 2 inch panel insulation, (R 13.5), glued and bolted to the walls with paneling glued to the glued panel insulation.

And while I was able to handle the oscillating saw for the most part I got an F in perfection.

So the paneling is hung with gobs of white Gorilla Duct Tape and liquid nails. It is a bit of a cob job but had to do something when you can’t find folks to do the work.

Want to share a device I came upon. It is a bug zapper. The flies were driving me nuts but with this new contraption it zaps them with sound and it’s been a wonderful addition to cabin life.

Back on friendly soil, and picked up from La Guardia by my daughter and son in law. The following morning we drove to Sullivan County where I completed paperwork for my new job which I begin on the 17th.

Have accepted a job at the local hospital on a per diem basis. Was shocked by the amount of paperwork required to complete.

After 3 grueling days have completed the staging and repaint of the condo. Signed with another realtor and shall see what this brings.

To my surprise the Department of Healthh has denied my well application so as of October 10th I have no place to live with running water.💦

Started my day early obtaining my requisite items from the Chinese 86th Street Bakery in Bensonhurst. Have enough to get through my busy condo staging days. What sweet women they are.

Next on to La Guardia Airport.. Usually I don’t like to impose on my daughter and take the subway but she insisted. She was supposed to help me with the fl condo staging but she received a lucrative job offer for the week.

Since she’s unemployed had to accept the gig.

Stopped for a cosmo and lycee martini at this bar/restaurant. This came after a phenomenal 90 minute massage for $55 at a spot on 8th Avenue.

What fun but it’s not over yet.

Yesterday took a fun trip to Roscoe, New York to visit ..

What fun to see the over 100 alpacas on this 38 acre farm been around for over 12 years.

The owner, Kara, gave me a wonderful tour explaining the warmth, waterproof, varied color, and softness of their fur.

The grounds were immaculate and on this pristine day glad I brought a lunch as fun to eat lunch while watching these beautiful animals.

Each May the alpacas are sheared. They are a pack animal. The farm sell the animals but Kara was mum on what they go for.

There were other animals on the farm. This Vietnamese pig was a rescue.

What a fun visit!
