Is it take out or take away? One wonders how this occurred, and what is to come. It was the inevitable. The match up will be ghastly. If the rapist wins the country the world will be in peril. I understand it is planned that Joe is going to go all out on the rapist, and grateful to hear that. I hope while he does this he also spends some time touting the amazing work he’s done 3 years into his term.

After 8 years have had enough of living the dream, and the sunshine, (more like rain 3-5 days a week), so looking forward to my return North. Kept my down coat and am now washing it and polishing my snow boots as I look forward to the cabin in the Catskills I recently purchased.
For those who question my decision read my early blogs and listen to Stephen Colbert’s monologue on the state. He is funny, but painfully honest. Am not going to trash the state as many are very happy here so will simply say, “I didn’t fit.” If you are a Northerner, and should you wish to live south recommend finding a place with many northern transplants.
As I write this I am waiting on line for the New York State Retirement System. The wait is 58 minutes and I am into 35 of those 58 minutes. While cleaning out the condo came across the estate paperwork of my mother. We never got along, and quite frankly, I think she despised me, and I understand why. My parents were to divorce, and she found herself pregnant, they stayed together, and two if not several lives were destroyed. Why am I pro-choice? Do I need to say more?
In the estate paperwork there was a letter I never read as quite frankly I didn’t want this money so most went to my daughter. She suffered greatly when I lacked funds so am grateful she can benefit.
When I needed the money I often heard, “You make your bed you lie in in,” so knew not to ask, and if I did after much contemplation, again the line. However, since I have decided to wait till 70 for social security, and don’t want to deplete reserves am exploring these 3 items I left to the wind by not reading the estate paperwork. If anything comes to pass I will use it, and consider it a gift from the grave as I know my daughter is alright.
So, let’s digress back to the 58 minute wait, and toss in the immigrant situation. Stay with me on this one.. We need immigrants to keep our country moving forward, providing the necessary services, and another bonus they add to our tax roles often starting productive and insightful businesses. They add to our country. So, as I wait now 55 minutes am hopeful that we begin to warmly accept these folks.

Well, I suppose when you have 91 felony counts against you, lost your business empire, been convicted of rape, and there is a good possibility you may be jailed, there may be a bit of preoccupation, and confusion, or is it dementia?.

Did you see Dr. Jill on the campaign trail? She was out there pounding the troops of women about female health care, and she sounded good, and better yet she was getting a following. Earlier this month in an interview with Mika of Morning Joe she said they were all getting out there calling out the rapist prez. What a powerful message she sent. Next need to get Michelle out there pounding the pavement.
If Michelle ran all the stats say she’d be elected in a heart beat. And what a President she would be.. man she’d clean things up as she is so damn smart! And maybe Dr. Jill could be her VP. What a ticket! And one can dream……………

Ever since I was a child I wanted to live in florida. And as I write this I recall the adage, “Be careful what you ask for,” as it certainly came to pass. In my late 50’s I arrived in florida as a young retiree, ill hoping to recover, however I became ill’er, if that is such a word.. Looking for a realtor I found one in vile Charlene, not her true name. She got the condo commission, which was not a paltry sum, but in retrospect, “I should have fired the b-tch.”
Have no respect for realtors, and glad Joe is finally handling them.
The condo I bought was on the second floor. I shared a landing with another condo where I later learned there was a “troubled” family. Daily I heard these young children crying and wailing. Then there was the morning run with the youngest under this custodial parent’s arm with her arms and legs thrashing as he carried her to the car on route to child care. There were other undisclosable incidents and this had been going on for awhile as relayed by neighbors, who turned a blind eye. As an RN I am a mandated child abuse reporter. I did the deed, (or loose the license), and what a terrifying several weeks of backlash for that, however, I believe the children were safe.
That ain’t me, but anyone considering nursing as a career needs their head examined.

Then there was the day at the pool where I overheard a woman calling for help from her condo. Later I learned that the boyfriend had locked her in the closet. Beyond that was the friendly neighbor – a peeper who I caught looking into my windows several times. And the $400. I paid for a broken car back window from a golf ball, $1000. to repair a ceiling from a tenant neighbor with an illegal washing machine, a dog who barked incessantly for 3 days causing my now life long affliction of tinnitus, and the list goes on.
But perhaps my most favorite florida condo story was when my daughter brought “home,” (guess florida is my home, however I’ll never claim it), her future husband. Now, he is definitely from a higher caste than my daughter and I, and I was aware of that so I planned the 3 day meet and greet to a T. I bought dishes, as I only used paper plates prior to this, got new sheets and towels, vacuumed. You know all the things you do, or I guess you do, when meeting a potential new family member?
The arrival went well. From the airport we did the usual fl things, the beach, bought oranges. Then that night while sleeping I received a rap on the door. Unbeknownst to me my next door neighbor was a convicted felon, had guns in the condo, (not unusual as I am the only one in florida without one, and I’m told to never tell anyone that), and sold drugs. his latest conviction was for beating the girlfriend who had been the tenant who signed the lease forgetting to put his name on it.
As I live in the end unit first floor with a golf course as my backyard this area according to the sheriff who had knocked on the door was very unsafe. For the remainder of the week and the entire stay of this potential future family member sheriffs were a constant presence patrolling.
Knowing how beloved this potential future family member was by his folks I wanted to put him on the next plane for his safety. I wondered if he would share this visit information with his folks, and still don’t know to this day, nor have I asked.
So now as I write this it is 6:15 am and the hyperactive child in the condo above my head is running loudly hammering her feet into the floor. Earphones and headphones lack assist and my construction guy says there is no way to sound proof the ceiling.
I have contacted management several times but now am told to “back off.” Incidentally, this is a sublet and the new tenant is a friend of the former tenant who also had an out of control kid. While my daughter says I’m paranoid, one wonders if this is payback or better yet a cluster f=ck.? And now all have sympathies are for this grandmother raising 2 grandchildren. And I don’t know the situation, nor do I want to, but if she didn’t discipline the mom of these 2 kids guess the kids will walk the same path..
So what of me? Tenants and owners have the same rights. Today I’m off with a realtor to find any house I can far away from St. Augustine and hopefully something I can afford. My now son in law texted me the florida counties which went for Biden, however, that is for another blog, and quite frankly I do not wish to relive those nightmare stories concerning the crazed rapist president followers in st. augustine.
So, remember how the blog began, and the moral to the story.
What do you say about a man who served 40 years, and did so much to impede progress, literally stopping the rule of law? And what shall we say was was his finest hour? In my humble opinion I believe it was stopping President Obama from appointing a justice to the now unsupreme court which has effectively fu=cked Americans for the next generation, and generations to come. Job well done in your eyes, but what will history say, and then there’s that thing called legacy…
Let’s offer him a beer, though I know him to be a bourbon drinker, however that’s all he’s worth, and I’m being generous in that offering. And cheers to the court he created in his abhorrence of progress and tyranny of hate.
In my reflection I think of those he facilitated the appointment of like amy. She’s the smart ass whiner who we all wanted to knock off the swing in the playground and hope the swing hit her in the head and knocked some sense into her. But alas, that did not happen as she remains stuck in Erikson’s Developmental Stage of a 2 year old with no insight to those who walk the real walk in this life. She lacks vision, then there is that smug smile, and the hair. Girl, get a bob. It makes you want to slap her and say wake up!. Thank God for the other girls on the court. I can’t imagine what they truly think of her.
Next is kavanaugh, a rapist, who we all know did it, and the black porn messiah. I would give anything to put both their faces in a toilet. And the latter will never be impeached as the billionaires will shield him, or will they? Hope you got enough perks from them to carry you through the disgrace as that will last a life time, and that blonde best friend will cover her as- and go to higher ground leaving you in the dust. Billionaire friends like that run when you are in trouble and no longer bowing to their wishes. Just a prophecy here and please Jamie Raskin find a way to get him out! We all know he’s guilty.
