Trisha Brown Dance Company

This group performed on the grounds of Manitoga in Upstate NewYork. This was the home of designers Russel Wright and his wife Mary Small Einstein. See previous blog.

It was a a perfect day – sunny yet comfortable and the dance creative and beautiful.

Enough said – you decide.

From the grounds we moved to see dancers perform on the water.

The dancers raft performance on the pond in front of the Manitoga home.

And how did they leave? Of course as only dancers can with grace.
The Next Performance
From the water the dancers returned to land performing in song and dance on the grounds of the home.

And where were our seats?

What an amazing performance and day.. Let’s close with a final picture of Manitoga.

Finishing The Septic

Remember this stump?

Well, am coming to closure on the septic system. Paul, my cute 38 year old single, never married construction guy will be moving on to the water tanks next.

Heidi the septic has been sunk and Hildi, seen above, the leech field disseminator, is next.

And by the way any nice single girls out there want to meet a great guy? I am vetting them as I only want the best for this sweetheart. He’s no flunky, has a good biz, has traveled the world, and is funny and cute.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

What more could a girl ask for?

So will close on that note 🎵 and tomorrow will write more on my Hudson Valley adventure of Friday the 20th. It brightened up after Storm King and I have some wonderful memories to reveal.

😀😀😀😀😀

For a laugh, Rock 🪨 getting a ride.

Storm King Art Center

Needed to get away from cabin construction so elected to visit a place where I’ve wanted to go for decades. Not a good choice.

Found it to be a stunning collection of outdoor sculpture pieces but that said it was a mess to navigate.

And I wasn’t alone in this sentiment,

If you go take the tram. Drivers are older and get it. The young guides are snappy toward us old folk.

But that said $25 for a tram ride is pricey.

The Center was begun by a wealthy lawyer in the 1930’s. Visit Museum Hill to see his home and the temporary collections.

The Collection on display

Outside Sculpture Garden

They have a gift shop here and for $40 you can get a coaster and for $30 you can rent a bike for 2 hours. Bloomberg also has an AP you can download to assist in navigating the place.

In conclusion..

The setting is gorgeous can’t imagine how lovely once the trees turn.

Is Third Time A Charm?

As I mull over the second assassination attempt on the rapist president I wonder if this old adage is true. But in speaking with others and reading media regarding this second attempt I am confused. Why would a follower of the rapist attempt to kill him? Perhaps it is because in his death he would become a martyr with his following only to increase? It certainly is a possibility in this crazed political environment we currently live in.

The Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods

What a great festival!

Daughter and I really enjoyed all the variety and delicacies this Festival had to offer. And with the backdrop of the Woodstock grounds it made for a beautiful afternoon.

What a gorgeous day and only $7 to park no entry fee.

The vendors provided much variety. Good ole New York State ingenuity.

Corn Maze for big and little folk.

Wineries and liquor vendors galore serving free samples…

Loved the red from this place.
Interesting clothing store in a trailer
Doggies up for adoption
Anyone for a pickle?
Free potato chips..
Great soaps and lotions
Recycled Book Art
Much Jewelry
Malaysian Spices
And it wouldn’t be Woodstock without a 🎼 ⛺️
Or peace, love, and happiness

What a great festival to find interesting early Christmas 🎁.

Sundays now through October 6th.

Has ginni had too many gins?

Did you see the latest from the wife of the longest serving unsupreme court justice? she is applauding the right winged first liberty group and encouraging them to sink any ethics code of conduct for this obviously unethical group.

In an email to First Liberty’s Kelly Shackelford, Ginni Thomas allegedly wrote: “YOU GUYS HAVE FILLED THE SAILS OF MANY JUDGES. CAN I JUST TELL YOU, THANK YOU SO, SO, SO MUCH.”

he and she gotta go. It’s shameful he even got on the court with his sexual harassment and pornography problems. Remember Anita Hill?? Then there is the $4 million in lavish gifts for endorsing those billionaires who want the court to sway their way for decades?

And let me tell you once they are gone their billionaire friends will be as well.
