Tonight was watching John’s show, I must admit it’s been off my radar for a couple years. Was looking for something to blog about other than the usual – the rapist prez. Sometimes when I hear the pundits chat about the rapist I wonder, is this a bad dream, and if so, when will I wake up? Then I go down another rabbit hole thinking, what will the pundits talk about once this is over, if per chance it ever ends. The news would certainly be boring, we’d have no more breaking news. But I could go for some boredom, couldn’t you?? Let’s hope so in my lifetime. I am 67, and truly how long can this last??….
And my favorite wonder is – could this entire mess be fabricated? I remember when I did a travel nurse gig at one very southern back hills place where folks married their cousin. Once again I don’t make this up, I’m not that creative. This was the period when wildfires were taking entire California towns. I said isn’t this awful but the nursing attendant said, “Oh, no that’s not happening, it’s all made up.” Well, my mouth opened and closed when she next said her pastor told her so.
So let’s return to the rapist, how long can he last? Learned about the golf game in all places but West Virginia at a golf hotel during lunch with our glib waiter sharing insights he overheard from the conversations of golfers he was serving. One wonders that conversation, and is there a waiter willing to spill the beans on that?
