After writing the former blog rant I recall what I wanted to speak of. And this will be short as it is now 0700.

Today I heard of the unsupreme court’s ruling that all transgenders must leave the military by June. The rationale for this is their presence affects military readiness. However this will affect military readiness even more as recruitment is at an all time low.

I digress… as what I really wanted to speak of is the rapist’s latest order. He is allowing semi automatic weapons to have an automatic reload potential. So.. we’ll have weapons of mass destruction with even greater capacity on our streets.

Do I need to explain further?

Or the consequences?

Looking forward to that one tonight. Hope Stephen is eating his Wheaties for breakfast or taking extra vitamins before the show. Wonder what inspired this, and do I care? Only looking forward to him grilling the as-hole as from his hand most of our government chaos has occurred when he threw Hillary under the bus.

And while I write this blog for an audience of 1, me, I am grateful to get this rage out. What I wonder after 2200 blogs is why we are not getting the senior point of view out there on the airways. My greatest dream would be to be on a stage in front of like minded 1000’s spewing the stuff that most Americans believe. It needs to be said, and if not by me, by someone in this generation. It’s now 7 a.m., and guess I am getting delusional after 4 hours of sleep. Believe it’s time to return to sleep, if possible.

It used to annoy me to no extent to listen to those with a British accent talking smut about our United States on the news. I hated, yes, hated, hearing that Kadie, or whatever the hell her name, is on Morning Joe speak of my country when she is obviously a Brit, or maybe she’s an Aussie? Yes, run on sentence but it’s 5 am, and I am annoyed.

Whatever.

But interesting now how quickly times have changed. After hearing the mainstream news stations mock Joe Biden saying his cancer diagnosis was timed with the jake tapper book about his mental decline I no longer listen to them, (Rachel Maddow excluded), and have found myself seeking the BBC or any news program from an English speaking EU country.

It somehow provides comfort, but more than that, the truth.

And isn’t that what the news is supposed to be all about?

This is my third summer attending this playhouse located on the grounds of a historic village in Monroe, N.Y.

Have bought season tickets for all 4 shows. It is a fun time loaded with seniors who speak to solo attendees. And the final bonus is they serve apple 🍎 🥧 pie with ice cream at intermission. They even got fancier this year as the pie has a crumb top. YUM!!

This was the first time the museum village historic stores and houses were open to the public so really enjoyed this visit.

While I yearn for the NYC ballet decided to take a chance on a local Pennsylvania group, and was quite pleased. Plus the prices were great, $10 senior.

Then after the performance found some of my favorite cheapie places – Save A Lot and Ollies. Was running low on meats and dirt.

Have purchased a new fast growing tree to provide privacy from neighbors. Am told it grows 10 to 12 feet 👣 in a year. It’s called a Hybrid Willow Tree. See ad below.

After loosing all 10 arborvitae and 2 trees from Fast Growing Trees then attempting a rebate I’ve learned only to buy nursery products grown in the area. Fast Growing is a South Carolina company and you know my opinions on anything southern.

We pay for the south and their stupidity rules.

And now he’s destroying US further with $4 trillion added to our deficit to appease the wealthy and himself giving them less tax as a reward for putting him in office again.

And while his minions like porn mike push things through the North continues to pay for the south.

Biden is gone but we are hearing of him more than when he was in office. Don’t you tire of the rapist claiming Joe did nothing and what he did was wrong. Poor Joe, wish he’d defend himself but that’s not him to interfere.

Let’s hope he’s on a beach or a bike ride in Delaware enjoying himself.

Caveat: This was written before the new diagnosis came out. Odd how the pundits and newscasters are linking his brain to the prostate and trashing Joe again. What you give out, you get back, karma….

Have been upset about the contractor who took money from me, and didn’t complete the work, or did it erroneously. These concerns have been going on for many months now.

I have spoken with the state police, sheriff’s department, untold numbers of lawyers, and frankly exhausted every option. I spoke with every lawyer in the local Chamber of Commerce, and while they gave ideas and free advice, they declined to take me on. And when I worked with the NYS Mediation folks, the contractor never returned calls or texts.

I wanted to keep this as low budget as possible as I already have lost over 40 grand, between what I paid, and what I had to pay to fix work done erroneously. And to make things worse even the one plumbing contractor who claimed to fix things knew it couldn’t be resolved. This I learned recently, however, that was “only” 6 grand.

It’s disheartening considering how hard I worked all these years to obtain these monies, and to watch the monies disappear even more upsetting.

I finally came across Small Claims Court and while 3 grand is only a drop in the bucket, it was worth a try. The court clerk was helpful, and I was awarded the 3 grand. At Small Claims Court I met an Assistant DA, and things are in motion. I have officially asked for the monies from the contractor via text, and certified letter. The sheriff’s department has also contacted me, and if I don’t receive the monies the contractor will be arrested.

While I am hopeful the monies will come through I doubt that they will. Why do I write this in a blog? Well, I am told the contractor also has ties to nefarious folks who could potentially harm me so this documentation is key.

Let’s hope this comes to a peaceful resolution.

I’m beginning to take a liking to the new pope. While it’s doubtful I’ll rejoin the church, I can appreciate from the sidelines, and cheer him on in my own way.

First off we are almost the same age so grew up in America during the same era, therefore, similar values. We stood up for something bigger than ourselves, and while I’m not a math genius as he is, this fraternity makes sense.

A few days ago the rapist decided to cold call the man. The Pope didn’t shake his hand, and gave him a talking to about service to the people. It was done politely though the rapist’s intrusion was not, however, am unsure if the rapist got his point, but we did.

Then there was his visit Thursday in the Ukraine with the head of the Greek Catholic Church. He was there to discuss the negotiations to end this war.

Who knows, maybe he’ll be washing hands with Putin next?

The Holy Spirit is in action here.

When my daughter graduated from college under the bush administration she couldn’t find a job. She resorted to taking jobs outside her degree, and these were mainly low paying, (before Cuomo’s $15/hour). Gratefully, her mother was able to pay for her college, and then send her whatever I could to keep her afloat. She’s good at 42, but took her till then to locate a job with health insurance. Without that bonus she’s delayed most of her life, so we’re looking at motherhood at 43 or 44?., if that is even possible?…. And as a now public servant ain’t no walk in the park. I’m reliving my 23 years of mainly horror as one through her stories.

But, she’s grateful for the job and has her chin up, “I’ve finally got health insurance,” she proudly states.

Then there is the present day story of the young man across the street. He’s brilliant, and almost completed his Masters in Biology. He was hoping for a job in research, however, now the funds have dried with this possibility for this as well. However, the student loans haven’t and he too will need to seek a different path, and parental support.

Is it no wonder they are angry and confused?

And isn’t this all our loss?

Hate to be a Debbie Downer, and wish I had a funny Stephen Colbert line on this one, however, this hurts us all.

Brilliant minds taking a different path.

But maybe on one of those great new yachts the billionaires purchase with the tax cuts we’re giving them they can get a minimum wage job as wait staff?
