More Ideas, Thanks Joe.

Joe came up with another idea this week, the first Office on Gun Violence Protection. With 500 mass shootings so far this year we certainly need this. Bipartisan legislation has been passed in 2023, kudos and thanks to Connecticut Senator Murphy’s efforts with some bipartisan support. This legislation cracked down on background checks with the next step, having the Office working in conjunction with states to make state gun law changes.

If you can’t get it done federally, take my motto in life – “There’s always a way.”

Let’s celebrate this! It’s what the American people want and need.

Vice President Harris, who in another life was an Attorney General from Calif, is tasked with this Office, and the youngest member of Congress, Gen Z’er, Representative Maxwell Alejandro Frost, Democrat of Florida, spoke at this ceremony announcing the Office. Maxwell was the creator of March for Our Lives, a youth advocacy group on gun control. His interest began when 20 first graders and 6 educators, were killed in Sandy Hook Elementary, and continued on through other mass shootings such as Parkland, Florida. At the ceremony he stated this advocacy began as he simply didn’t want to get killed going to school.

Not to much to ask, huh?

Wonder how the repubs can f–k this up. Maybe jim jordan can do his 50 mph nonsense speaking to block these actions somehow?? As an aside did you know rapid speech is a sign of fear, anxiety and lack of knowledge? Thanks, Auntie Google for the info.

Wonder when it will catch up with him?

Decal available on Amazon.

Ohio voters don’t you deserve better representation? And jd vance to boot?.

xxxxx

Gosh, your representation is as good as fl. Consider rubio, he never voted or was in DC. And when he did vote, he voted against his constituents, so he might as well have stayed in Miami. Maybe he was working on his tan? And wonder if he’s coming to work now in this term? he won by a landslide with dark money backing and campaign ads that lied about the amazing Val Demings record.

Next blog. So many flunkies, so little time.

Back to Frost..

Am unsure if ever got a DC apartment. He had been couch surfing for awhile but no news on the internet since December regarding this. Maybe Hillary Clinton could offer him a room at her DC place? He should ask if he’s still having problems. And maybe he could introduce legislation to ease rental applications or at least get the application fee back if you are declined.

Always thinking.

In closing am including one of the many emails I’ve received from Joe.  I left off the saluations..  Glad he emails as it saves postage, stationery, and staff time.  Like that efficiency.

Joe has so much to do, and is doing it!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine.  The United States stands with the brave and proud people of a free and democratic Ukraine as they continue to defend their country against Russia’s aggression.

America has rallied our allies and partners around the world in response to the Kremlin’s unprovoked and unjustified war.  Together, we have imposed unprecedented sanctions to hold Putin accountable and raise the economic costs on Russia.  We have protected the security of Europe by strengthening NATO’s defenses and paving the way for Sweden and Finland to join NATO, making the most capable defensive alliance in the history of the world even stronger.

While Putin sought to weaken the West with his war, his actions have had the opposite effect.  We have never been more united, and Russia’s economy is suffering.

The United States will continue to stand with the people of Ukraine as they fight to defend themselves.  We have provided significant military support to Ukraine, including artillery, advanced rocket systems, drones, and ammunition.  We have also provided significant economic assistance to Ukraine so the Ukrainian government can continue to provide vital services to its people.  We are the leading donor of humanitarian relief in support of the millions of people who have fled Ukraine because of the war.  And we are leading the world in addressing the global food insecurity crisis, which has been made much worse by Putin’s brutal war.  We are doing all this while keeping American troops out of harm’s way .

In the face of this brutal, unwarranted war, the courage and determination of the Ukrainian people continues to inspire the world.  The United States, together with our allies and partners, will stand firm with the Ukrainian people as they fight to defend their freedom.
