Tonight was watching John’s show, I must admit it’s been off my radar for a couple years. Was looking for something to blog about other than the usual – the rapist prez. Sometimes when I hear the pundits chat about the rapist I wonder, is this a bad dream, and if so, when will I wake up? Then I go down another rabbit hole thinking, what will the pundits talk about once this is over, if per chance it ever ends. The news would certainly be boring, we’d have no more breaking news. But I could go for some boredom, couldn’t you?? Let’s hope so in my lifetime. I am 67, and truly how long can this last??….

And my favorite wonder is – could this entire mess be fabricated? I remember when I did a travel nurse gig at one very southern back hills place where folks married their cousin. Once again I don’t make this up, I’m not that creative. This was the period when wildfires were taking entire California towns. I said isn’t this awful but the nursing attendant said, “Oh, no that’s not happening, it’s all made up.” Well, my mouth opened and closed when she next said her pastor told her so.

So let’s return to the rapist, how long can he last? After all he is 78, obese, has a high fat diet, sleeps less than 4 hours a night, exercises minimally playing a terrible golf game where he cheats, the caddies move the balls on to the green, and everyone lets him cheat and win as the whining and denial is unsatiable if he doesn’t. Guess sports emulates life, on the greens as well as on the world stage. However, half the american people will vote for this rapist even knowing he has the nuclear codes at his finger tips, and putin has him in his back pocket or perhaps his front?

Learned about the golf game in all places but West Virginia at a golf hotel during lunch with our glib waiter sharing insights he overheard from the conversations of golfers he was serving. The waiter also said this is common knowledge, and articles have been written about this. However, so much has been written about the rapist there just isn’t enough air time left to add his golf game to the mix. Now, back to the real reason for this blog. Here I was trying to get away from discussing the rapist prez, and I fell down the rabbit hole. Please Alice free me from this digression, but if you are still reading – I got ‘cha!!

One thing John failed to mention in his broadcast… alito’s visit to see the pontif in Rome the day after he sealed the deal for the guy squashing Roe v. Wade. One wonders that conversation, and is there a waiter willing to spill the beans on that? Perhaps alito’s journey in haste was to kiss the ring, and ask the pontif for indulgence from his planetary sins. Since he’s a repub did he go to a brothel, have a threesome, or engage in porn prior to the visit to get as much bang for his buck for the indulgence? While indulgences were a practice of the middle ages with royalty paying their way into heaven, one wonders are we returning to the middle ages especially in light of the unsupreme court rulings????

Is there a separation of church and state?

OR… is it those with power and those without?

It all boils down to our vote.

And as far as the naiferious unsupreme court, thomas has the same diet as the rapist prez so one can dream.
