Started my day by picking up food to take home. 86th St. Brooklyn has a wealth of wonderful Chinese restaurants and baked goods. I bought a rolling bag to bring home the goodies.

It’s all going to fit!
Here’s some places to check out, plus the 86th street bakery near 20th ave cross street, and the $10 pizza 🍕 place across from TD Bank. Enjoy.. You’ll be hunting for a scrolling bag, too.
Hint: They are at every store on 86th.

Next was time for a haircut..

While in the chair received a text that the buyer for the fl. condo backed out. Oh well..
But next call came from Rob, my cabin electrician, saying I have heated floors with propane, and a new propane hot water heater so guess that’s positive.
My next cabin lesson is in propane?.

Post haircut boarded the D train and on to the best Cuban sandwich in the world 🌎 on 46th street in Manhattan, Margone. Been around over 50 years. For $20 got a Cuban, a beer, and still had some $ toward a tip.

On to Central Park after this feast to walk off the calories..

Tulips were in bloom.

And the finale, the Alicia Keyes play,
Hell’s Kitchen.

While still in previews think they have it down. It is the story of a single mom raising her teenage daughter in the NYC projects. The music, dance, and story line is a phenomenal experience.
Hats off to Alicia Keys, our native New Yorker, who brought this to light.
She certainly has a winner on her hands and possibly a Tony!

And this ends my Spring 2024 NYC Venture.
Hope you’ve enjoyed it vicariously with me.
