Today I am having over 40 trees removed from my property. I have said goodbye to each one of them individually. However, οΏΌ they need to go as they are badly diseased and could fall on the cabin breaking it in two.

Auntie Google says these trees could be more than 150 years old.

Amazing what these trees lived through..

  • Women’s right to vote
  • Two World Wars
  • The invention of the automobile
  • The invention of television
  • Computers

Gosh, am getting sentimental for these giants.

But, need someplace to live more.

Look who came to investigate the morning after. So curious πŸ‘€ 12 of them exploring the property. Wonder what they thought? Oh, if they could only speak..

And for all those tree huggers cringing at this site have no fear I have plans for beautiful and healthy growth for the property.
