The Final Tree

Gosh, havenโ€™t written in 3 days, have you missed me? Been up to my eye balls ๐Ÿ‘€ in cabin renovations.

The final diseased tree has been removed.

I gave her a hug the final day of her life. She had to be a female the way she survivedโ€ฆ.. . Read on.

This tree was at least 150 years old and from the front and top looked healthy with a great leaf structure. However, when you looked at the back there was a 15 inch triangular opening 8 inches deep.

Its trajectory for fall was the roof of the cabin.

Also, Hilda and Heidi my septic tank and cement leech field are now covered.

Hereโ€™s a video update of the backyard.

My contractor claimed he wasnโ€™t around for several days due to rain, and Iโ€™ll give him that. But, since Iโ€™ve given him deadlines and a bonus for completing by Monday all is happening faster than squirrel can scurry away from an oncoming car.
