Adventures

While the tree ๐ŸŒฒ was being removed I took a jaunt with first stop an apple farm.

Lawrence Farms

This apple farm is in the Hudson Valley.

You never know what youโ€™ll find when you travel.

Their limited and simple signage led to quite a find down a windy and steep road.

Here I did some retail damage with a pumpkin ๐ŸŽƒ pie for Thanksgiving at $14.95, 2 jars of preserves at $6.95 each, along with a half gallon of apple ๐ŸŽ cider at $7.

But bring cash as $7 per person entry fee and a credit card service fee of 4% which they waived as I spent much.

Trees are dwarf so easy pick inโ€™

The assortment of apples is grand with the paths to the trees an easy walk.

And the views of the Catskills- priceless..

A Pristine Day
They also have goats and horses for the kiddies plus a wagon ride through the orchards on weekends.

One thing struck me on this visit as I was the only English speaking American there, and the place had quite a crowd for a weekday. There were Bangladeshi, Pilipino, Spanish, and Orthodox folk all represented.

And isnโ€™t that what makes us great.

We are a melting pot of diversity.

Why do we fight it?

Hereโ€™s how it all begins.
