The Passing of Ethel Kennedy

Ethel Kennedy has passed at 96, from complications of a stroke. What a ride this woman had in her lifetime. Marrying into a political dynasty, she became the wife of a senator, Attorney General, and mother to 11 children, 34 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Following her husband’s assassination in 1968, she founded the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, a non-profit charity with a mission to establish a just and peaceful world. In 2014, Ethel was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama.

May she rest in peace.
