In 2016 this was the case..
stated on August 31, 2016 in a statement:
“Sen. Rubio has the worst vote attendance record of any Florida senator in nearly 50 years.”
This problem was outlined when Val Demings ran against him for the florida senate seat.
This doesn’t seem to have improved..
Missed Votes
From Jan 2011 to Jan 2025, Rubio missed 442 of 4,596 roll call votes, which is 9.6%. This is much worse than the median of 2.7% among the lifetime records of senators currently serving.
Let’s hope we don’t have something come up if he becomes Secretary of State where he decides to sleep in and forget to show.
