On my way to Ithaca today for a pre-birthday trip. Since I will be working on that evil day decided to travel and celebrate π early. Passed near Binghamton so decided to π.
Weather was foggy on this trip along Rt 17. Came across this beautiful site with fog streaking the mountains on the drive west.

Since I am a psychiatric nurse decided to stop at the Binghamton Asylum which is in ruins. In 1864, this became the first hospital in the world π to treat the disease of alcoholism. If only these walls could talk.
Later, it became the campus for the chronically insane. In 1993, it was closed due to structural concerns.
The Castle is the main building of the campus.
