What a day – it is my 69th, but have decided to claim I am 70, and will be 70 for 2 years…
Who wants to say they are 69 years old?
Kind of disgusting, and oh, the jokes!

So, what did I do with my 70th, Phase I birthday? Spent it with 18 psych patients from 12- 0730, who merrily wished me Happy Birthday, and some even sang to me. And to tell the truth this was the high point of my day as few were psychotic, and most only depressed. These wishes were welcomed and very grateful the casemix on this day was not dangerous or onerous. It was a slow night, thanks Universe.

As I worked I noted Mint Mobile continued to text and call me. Something was off. I learned I had been scammed. Then I checked the Chase web page and FaceBook had billed me $63. for a $10. ad boost. Of course at this time there was no one to call, and FaceBook/Mets can only be contacted via web. Plus your lunch break is only so long. These things are tremendously time consuming to fix.
The next day I called Chase, and half the Face Book charges were removed, however, the gal had not removed the entire mother load of 23 charges ranging from $1. to $8. Happily this was corrected in another call. But, will check again tomorrow. Have to stay on top of this stuff.
Then I called Mint Mobile, and while I find their service impeccable, it was time consuming. Another hour of investigating and tracking down information. WHEW!
Note to self: must write Ryan Reynolds, and report his company remains in good hands with the quality of his peeps.
Moral or end to the story: No more Meta or Facebook, and continued praise to Mint Mobile. I even enjoyed speaking with the bot Minty, he’s very knowledgeable. And kudos to all the customer reps!

I am proud of myself that I remained in control and faithful to my 2020 New Years resolution to never be nasty to a customer service rep person again.
And while August 4th, 2025 will go down as the birthday of being hacked I look forward to trying to celebrate a bit on August 5th, and fingers crossed this is not the way my new year will begin.

No, I never want to go back, but loved the flowers in this picture.
Caveat: Receive no monetary gain (or loss), from Mint Mobile, Chase, or the evil facebook.
