The Fable of George Santos

Here they are:

  • Worked for Goldman Sachs
  • Worked for Citi Group.
  • Gave his campaign $700,000.
  • Had a dog rescue organization, accepting money. but no known monies disbursed.
  • States he’s gay, but there is a wife somewhere..
  • Graduated from NYU
  • Graduated from Baruch College
  • He is being sought by Brazil for financial crimes
  • The republican party knew of these untrue claims
  • He says he is Jew-ish, but now says Catholic
  • Does not live in the district he ran in
  • Claims he is not a fraud.

Liar, Liar Pants on Fire..

Maybe he can get a job with the trump campaign??

Antony Blinken- Secretary of State

This is my favorite cabinet member – only blogged about him in September but it bears repeating..

Who is this 60 year old New York City born man of Jewish decent who graduated from Harvard and Columbia and now takes care of business on the world stage?

The long and short of it he is Biden’s alter ego according to some sources. Our Secretary of State spent some of his early years living in Paris with his mom and step dad, a Polish born Holocaust survivor, and lawyer. While his step dad has passed his mom is alive, and involved in US-France non-profits.

His father was an investment banker and former US Ambassador to Hungary, with step mom an interior designer.

While always interested in the arts and passionate about music, (he’s quite a guitarist), he was encouraged to join the State Department by family. Working with the Clinton administration he credits meeting his wife through the 40 million voters who voted for Clinton. She is Irish Catholic, and the duo have been together for 20 years.

Check out the above web site for an uplifting read on this fascinating man.

Let the games begin: First Victim Mayorkas? Bad Move.

As the new House majority has stated their 2 year term will dwell on investigations, reversing the Biden agenda, and impeachment of whoever they can find. Their first victim is the Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas. Bad move by republicans as this man is a Cuban American immigrant. Cubans are known to be the strongest republican base of Latinos. Why? They never forgave Kennedy that he didn’t finish Castro off during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

They don’t forget.

As McCarthy calls for this man’s resignation he should think twice before agitating this portion of the republican base.

Besides being the first Latino and immigrant to be named in this role, he has a stellar 30 year career in law enforcement. He is a nationally recognized lawyer. Much of his career has been involved with citizenship, agreements with foreign governments, human trafficking, and cybersecurity, to name a few topics. In reviewing the http://www.dhs.gov web site it is laced with activities he is handling effectively. And to be perfectly honest no one has been able to handle the border problem and why?

There is no policy or direction. This must come from our legislative body.

Once again republicans are finger pointing rather than providing a solution.

Youth Vote: They are watching..

One of the main reasons the Dems won this election is the youth vote. It will be their country, and they are playing a part. Their vote cancelled out the baby boomer vote. Interesting fact. They want climate policy, fair elections, abortion rights, and folks to get along. It is a necessity if we are to continue, and welcome their ideas at the table.

Watching the old white men in the orange prez cabinet made me cringe. There was little hope. In the Biden cabinet while we have some oldies, inclusive of my beloved President Joe, his cabinet is filled with diversity, and offices with younger folk. This is reassuring as we need these voices to channel and create policy for a new world.

Wonder what lies will be created in the orange prez 2024 bid?

Will be away for a period of two weeks after Thanksgiving. Prior to that time will be researching those new voices and blogging what I find. Am grateful that much was accomplished in the first 2 years of the Biden Presidency and hopeful that a few repub in the House will stand with Dems so more can be achieved.

We do not have the time to carry on hateful initiatives which are costly and divisive.

Let’s move forward.

Let the fun begin..

Last night the orange prez announced his 3rd bid for the White House. he has been teasing this for several weeks, and thankfully he gave Americans a week to regroup and enjoy the 11/8 Democratic victory lap. It is sad he cannot let go as few in the party want him in this race, however, he has $100 million in his campaign chest so he’s ready. One wonders if the 30% from the republican base who are still with him will continue to support and endorse this race. he’s lost the Aussie racist murdoch, but am sure there are others he can call on.

Between the wedding over the weekend, and Mary Trump loosing her inheritance case, he is probably charged.

Soon we’ll be seeing the antics again.

While he had two victories yesterday another legal problem began as the CFO for the tr organization rolled on him stating the orange prez personally gave approval for the frauds. Then there is the myriad of other cases pending. Not to mention the subpoena for the January 6th Committee which he ignored. And now that he’s announced his run he will be paying for his legal bills rather than the rnc. But once Merritt Garland’s decision is made all this craziness will be moot as:

U.S. Constitution Amdt 14.S3.1.1

Disqualification Clause

“No Person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office…shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”

Oh, what a tangled web this man weaves.

Stay tuned.

Thanks, Arizona

My $5 donations to Katie Hobbs worked! As of 35 minutes ago she won by 1% , but that 1% will cause many Americans less sleepless nights. Katie Hobbs, the former Arizona Democratic Secretary of State, is 52 years old, and a graduate of Arizona State University at Tempe. She will be a stable force for the people of Arizona and unite them. Trained as a social worker she has been in Arizona politics since 2011. Am sure this former social worker will be instrumental in helping her citizen’s heal. Believe her conduct during this election as well as her thank you message reflects this:

The New Governor of Arizona, Kathleen Marie Hobbs.

I am so honored and proud to be reaching out to you for the first time as Governor-elect Katie Hobbs!

It has been a long year and a half, but in this election, Arizonans chose solving our problems over conspiracy theories. We chose sanity over chaos. We chose unity over division. We chose a better Arizona. And we chose democracy, the system of government that made America the best and most prosperous country in the history of the world.

I want to thank the voters for entrusting me with this immense responsibility. It is truly the honor of a lifetime, and I will do everything in my power to make you proud. I want to thank my family, our volunteers, and campaign staff. Without all of your hard work, passion, and sacrifice this day would not be possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I also want to thank you — whether you pitched in to support our campaign, added your name to a petition, or just took the time to open messages like this one. I am incredibly grateful for your support every step of the way.

This was not just about an election – it was about moving this state forward and dealing with the challenges of our generation.

And I’m ready to take those challenges on. As governor, I will do everything in my power to get the job done for Arizona families and deliver solutions to tackle rising costs on housing and groceries, homelessness, our water crisis, the border crisis, and to restore women’s reproductive freedoms.

These problems are urgent. And it’s going to take both parties working together to fix them.

But the attacks on democracy won’t end today with this victory. And so it is on all of us to continue to defend it.

As I have said before, I’ve never been afraid of a tough fight. And it was thanks to every single one of you that we got through this one.

Now let’s get to work.

— Katie

This is what we want, and need to hear from politicians, solutions not noise.

Thank you, from one Kathleen Marie to another.

Angertainment

This weekend read the reasons why the red wave didn’t occur. Pundits stated their opinions about the orange prez causing this. Whatever you think believe Adam Frisch of Colorado running against lauren boebert, the gun toting, maga Bible candidate, cornered the market on the reason for this. While this race remains at 50/50 as of Sunday, November 13th, Frisch has a 73 vote advantage. Having followed this race and contributed to Adam am hopeful the folks of Colorado will place him in office. Glad those $5 contributions helped.

In the Frisch interview he states Americans are tired of the Angertainment Industry, and want kitchen table issues resolved in our legislative body. Things like climate change, inflation, health care, education for our kids, are several issues he wants to work on.

That’s Adam in the middle.

Citizens are tired of the angertainment. and with many House races not yet called let’s hope the Dems hold on to the House. reps have vowed to open more congressional investigation into Hunter Biden. As of 5/22, Hunter Biden already paid one million in back taxes, and the IRS is looking into further charges . Do we really need to continue down this path to find nothing as we did in the Clinton Whitewater scandal which cost taxpayers $6.2 million giving jobs to ken starr and brett cavanaugh with no charges found.

The IRS will get you every time. Best to overpay.

I rest my case.

Political Donations: Wins and Loses

While not a betting woman have enjoyed monitoring this race. At times have been concerned, but overall this last election has regained my trust in the American people, and their desire to maintain democracy, or else they want to maintain

social security.

That said here is this retiree’s scorecard. Wanted to see the results of my $3, $5, and sometimes larger campaign donations. Am impressed with the outcomes, and since I always want the bad news first will report losers then build the crescendo to the winners. Blog is being written 11/9 at 9:35 a.m.

Florida – Charlie Crist – governor race, loss by 20%, Love you Charlie, think you should be one of sexiest guys alive but while brilliant think you need to move North where you will be better appreciated. I’d even buy you a down jacket. Thanks for trying.

Val Demings – another Florida leader who actually comes to work and votes in favor of Floridians. How Floridians kicked her in the ass with this loss is beyond me. She also has much to offer and let’s hope Biden finds her a cabinet or ambassador position. Loss about 20%.

Al Lawson – another 20% loss in Florida – was he a redistricting casualty?

Virginia – Elaine Luria – she knew it was over but appreciated her work in the Jan 6th Committee. Thanks for your service. Maybe Joe can do something for her as well. She’s nearby in VA., and we need youthful leaders with fresh ideas, of which she has both.

Texas – Beto – I love you. Think you need to get a real job or move out of Texas. They’ll never appreciate you there. You certainly have the right skills.

Kentucky – Booker – even had your bumper sticker on my car – a scary thought in red florida, but someone promptly pulled it off. Better days are ahead for you, young man. I foresee them coming.

Georgia – Marcel Flowers – to come up against a blonde bad ass idiot with big boobs and a gun in Georgia? Your attempts were valiant. Thanks…

Jen Jordan – thought for sure you’d win with the blonde hair, but guess you were too smart for a woman in Georgia. Maybe you needed a gun and to show some breasts, but know you are a lady and would never go that low. We need you as a commentator for Georgia politics – CBS look into this.

Minnesota – Jeff Ettinger – wrote many postcards in an attempts to get you elected. There is a future for you. Continue your good works and philanthropy. It will pay off if you try again in politics. And if you do I have a future son in law who could help.

New York – Letitia James – Attorney General 54% on 11/9 at 1:39 a.m. You go girl! Just shows how much New Yorker’s hate the orange prez, and the rest of the country is catching on. Keep digging for more dirt…

Colorado – Adam Frisch – not called yet but will list him in this category. 11/9 51.3% with 78% of the votes counted. Great job. Loved your emails. Thanks, Colorado. So sick of Lauren Boebert, it’s tiresome. Holding a gun and preaching the Bible – really?

Illinois – Sean Carstens – love those Irishmen

California – Adam Schiff – was there ever a doubt he’d be re-elected?

North Carolina- Willie Nikels – Great job, man! Know you’ll make us proud.

Michigan – Elissa Slotkin – Congratulations!

Pennsylvania – John Fetterman – when Nora O’Donnell called it at 1:30 a.m. I cried tears of joy. You deserve it John, and will do an amazing job for the folks of Pennsylvania. So grateful… Make us proud and know you will.

Pending……………

Georgia – looks like another election in December – more post cards to write for Warnock

Arizona – could it be anyone other than Hobbs? If it is all will be sorry, however the former fox commentator will take the VP slot if orangie runs. she is power hungry and dangerous. Glad she’s not a blonde or has big boobs..

Kelly – still in the running.

Wisconsin – Mandela Barnes still possible. Please…

Nevada – Mastro – time will tell.. Latinos are insane if they didn’t vote for her.

Overall, it was a good night for America. Democracy has prevailed.

Another Election Cycle Completed: 2022

At the end of today we as Americans will at least know this. The election deniers will begin their antics, noise will be made, and recounts begun if they do not win. This has been foretold. Perhaps by end of year we will know more, but perhaps not. When I lived in Maine this process went on, and recall it seeped into the winner’s term. This hindered the “winner’s” ability to begin the duties of the position.

Whatever the outcome we are assured chaos, and if violent some will be injured or die, however, the cycle is over and a new day begun. Let us hope for a peaceful transition of power after this long battle with our country moving forward with these new leaders.
